Documents Necessary for APSC Recruitment 2024
- A valid (PRC) Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purpose. The Employment Registration Certificate will be considered as proof of residency.
- All relevant educational mark sheet and Pass certificate of all semester/year
- Class 10/12 Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet issued by a recognized Board/Council where Date of Birth (DOB) is clearly reflected. No other documents will be accepted as an age proof.
- PWBD certificate issued by the competent authority (if any)
- NOC (for govt employee of state of assam)

APSC Research Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2024
To apply for the post of research assistant, candidates need to apply online through the official PSC portal https://apsc.nic.in. Before apply online make sure to check the APSC Eligibility Criteria as mentioned below.
- Applicants must be a citizen of India residing in the state Assam
- The applicants must have a Degree in Science/Commerce or Arts with Statistics, Mathematics/Economics as one of the subjects of study in Degree course from a recognized institution. Additionally, candidates having the Minimum six months Diploma in Computer Application is desirable.
Age Limit for APSC Recruitment 2024
The age of the candidates must not be less than 21 years and not more that 28 years as on the date of 01/01/2024.
However, the age relaxation is provided to the reserved category candidates as per the norms of governments. 5 years age relaxation for ST, SC, candidates and 3 years for OBC and MOBC and 10 years for PWBD candidates.
APSC Application Fee
The application fee for APSC Recruitment is Rs.297.20/- for General candidates. Rs.197.20/- for the candidates belongs to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC and Rs.47.20/- for BPl and PWBD candidates.
