BED CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for Dibrugarh University B.Ed entrance exam, candidates must have the following eligibility criteria-
- A Candidate should clear the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test conducted by Dibrugarh University for that academic session.
- Candidates appeared in the Degree final examinations are eligible for appearing in the B. Ed CET, . However, they shall have to submit the Degree Qualifying documents within the stipulated time.
- A candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree and /or Master’s Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities or equivalent degree with at least 50% mark in aggregate from a recognised university.
- Candidates having Bachelor’s in Engineering / Technology of Dibrugarh University with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks are eligible for admission to the programme.
- A candidate securing 50% marks more in the Major subject but less than 50 % in aggregate in all the papers of the Bachelor’s degree will not be eligible for admission to B.Ed. programme.
Relaxation
5% relaxation in the qualifying marks is provided to the candidates-
- Candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/ OBC/MOBC/ PWD categories.
- 5 years teaching experience in a school recognized at least up to the 10th standard by SEBA, Assam.

Dibrugarh University BEd Admission Process
Dibrugarh University will release the merit list of all the candidates appeared in BED Common Entrance Test 2025.
The applicants who have passed the B.Ed. CET, , shall have to apply for admission into the institution of their choice. The concerned institutions will select the applicants for admission on the basis of their marks in the CET and Career Performance. The marks on the career performance will be awarde d by the respective institutions.
- A Common Entrance Test (CET) held centrally, which will carry a maximum of 70 marks.
- The career performance will carry a maximum of 30 marks, on the basis of the percentage secured in the HSLC, HS, the First Degree and/or Master’s Degree Examination.
- Only 10% of the percentage of marks obtained in H.S.L.C., H.S., Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree shall be considere d as career performance in each examination.
- For instance: If a student gets 60% in the first-Degree Examination his/her career performance marks in that examination will be 6.
