SLRB has released the Official Notification according to which the Physical
Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will start 3 October 2024. Candidates can the Admit Card from 23 September onwadrs.

Online application for Assam Police Recruitment 2024 Notification No. SLPRB/REC/CONST (AB & UB)/617/2023/200, Dated 06.10.2023 Online registration process is successfully completing between 15th October to 1st November 2023.
A Candidate whose Applications is found correct in all respect will be eligible for Physical Standard Test & Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Admit Card for Assam Police recruitment 2024 will be released on 23 September 2024 at their official website slprbassam.in. The official notification is published on 19 September 2024.

Assam Police PST and PET Admit Card 2024
Downloaded admit card contains the date and time and other crucial details about the examination. Candidates reporting at the venue on the date and time for PST and PET, they must bring all the documents uploaded during online Applications. They also need to bring a set of self-attested photocopies of the same for verification by the Selection Committee on the date of their PST & PET 2024. The selection committee will not accept any documents after PST & PET of a Candidate is complete d. Assam Police Documents Verification 2024
- All the original documents along with a set of Photostat copies of the documents will be verified before the applicant is allowed to appear for PST and PET.
- All the photostat copies submitted by the applicant will have to be duly self-atteste d.
- The rejected candidate will be giving rejection slips specifying the reason of rejection.
- If found any wrong information or forged documents at any stage will lead to disqualification of the candidature.
Assam Police PST and Medical Checkup 2024
- After documents verification, applicants will have to appear in the PST.
- The Physical Standard Test includes the measurement of the height, weight & chest ( chest measuring only male)
- These will be don e using latest technology after which the Candidate will be examine d by a Medical Officer for preliminary check-ups
- The initial check-ups such as knock knee, vision test, colour blindness test, flat foot, varicose vein, physical irregularities etc.
- After clearing the PST, candidates will have to appear in the PET (Physical Efficiency Test).
Physical Effeciency Test (PET) 2024
After successfully completion of (PST) candidates need to take part in the next steps of selection process which is PET. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) consist the following activities.
Race:
- For Male candidates 3200 metres race within 14 minutes.
- For Female candidates 1600 metres race within 8 minutes.
Long Jump:
- For male candidate, minimum 335 cm for long jump in 3 given chances.
- For female candidate, minimum 244 cm for long jump in 3 given chances.

Assam Police Written Test 2024
After completing the PST and PET for all the applicants, Assam Police merit list 2024 will be releasing at slprb website. The Merit list will be prepare d on the basis of the total marks obtain on PET changing it into percentage.
Selected candidates will be calling for the Written examination in order of merit at 5 times the number of posts allotted in respect of each category.
Written Exam Pattern 2024
- Written examination will consist of 100 MCQs
- Exam Type OBR Based
- For each correct answer the applicants will get half mark.
- The total marks for the Written exam will be 50.
- There will be no negative marking in Assam Police Written test.
- Medium of question paper will be in Assamese/ Bodo/ Bengali/English.
