UGC Notification for NET June 2024
National Testing Agency (NTA) has released official report, inviting online application from eligible candidates to submit online form for NET June 2024. The National Eligibility Test (NET) will be organized by NTA on 18th June. Earlier the exam date was 16th June in offline mode. Eligible candidates can fill out the UGC NET Application Form between 20th April 2024 to 10th May 2024 (up to 11:50 P.M) through NTA website https://ugcnet.ntaonline.in/.

ugc net exam 2024 application form
Candidates who are interested to take part in UGC NET 2024, can submit the application form within the stipulated time 20th April 2024 to 10th May 2024.
To apply candidates, need to full fill certain eligibility criteria as per the official notification, individual need to upload the relevant education qualification, pay application fee.

UGC NET 2024 Exam Date
Ugc NET exam date for June session 2024 is declared officially by NTA. National Testing Agency will conduct the UGC NET exam on 18th June 2024. The exam authority has modified in upcoming NET examination 2024.
The June session of UGC NET Examination will be held in OMR based only. Candidates need to appear in NET exam 2024 in pen paper mode offline. There is no change in syllabus but there will be no break between papers.
The duration will be in 3 hours without break in two shifts, the morning shifts from 09:00 am to 12:00 noon evening shift from 03:00 pm to 06:00 pm.
UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2024
Applicants possess the following criteria are eligible to submit the UGC NET Application Form 2024.
- #Candidates who have completed their Master’s degree from recognized university.
- #Along with it, for UR/EWS candidates should have at least 55% marks and OBC- Non-Creamy Layer, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD), Third gender candidates need 50% marks in their master’s degree.
- #The final year or Mastre’s degree pursuing candidates can also apply for GC NET 2024. However, such applicants will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for award of JRF/eligibility for Assistant Professor only after they have completed their Master’s Degree with minimum required marks.
- #The candidates having passed a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate. A relaxation of 5% marks for those belonging to reserved category.
- #The candidates qualifying in the NET, based on a four-year undergraduate degree, will be eligible for the award of the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for admission to the Ph.D.
- #Applicants qualifying in the NET, based on a four-year undergraduate degree, will not be eligible for appointment as Assistant Professor.
Upper Age Limit
- NTA has set the upper age limit, 30 years for JRF. However, 5 years relaxation is provided to the reserved candidates.
- No upper age limit is fix for Assistant professor.
UGC NET Registration Fee 2024
Candidates who fail to pay the necessary application fee within the given period, their application may lead to cancellation. Individual can pay the application free from 11th May 2024 to 12th May 2024 up to 11:50 P.M in online mode. The category wise application free-

How to Fill Up UGC NET Application Form 2024?
To fill UGC NET application form, candidates need to visit the official website https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/. Then clink on the link UGC NET Registration June 2024. Complete the registration process very carefully. Login with newly created login password, fill online application form, upload all relevant documents, pay the application Fee. After completing all the steps, download the application form for confirmation if needed later. What are the changes in UGC NET Application Form 2024
NTA has reform few points regarding UGC NET 2024, Application Form, candidate can read the full notification at nta website. The changes that we notice in UGC NET Application form are-
- The mode of examination will be in OMR based (Pen- Paper only no computer)
- UGC NET exam will be conduct in a single day such as on 18 June 2024 for all subjects.
- No changes in syllabus
- Paper 1 questions is compulsory and same for all subjects
- There will be no beak between exam papers.
- Changes in eligibility criteria-

UGC NET Application Form Correction 2024
What if if mistake in UGC NET Application Form 2024? Candidate who are willing to apply for UGC NET June 2024, must submit the application form very carefully. However, if any candidates submit incorrect information by mistake, they can correct in the Particulars in Online Application Form after completing registration process.
candidate will be able to correct in application from 13th May 2024 to 15th May 2024 up to 11:50 P.M. So, candidates filling online NET exam form incorrectly need not to be worry. The NTA will open the correction window within this period.
