The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE) has announced the Notification for recruitment of TGT & PGT Teachers under the DSE, Assam. Through this recruitment, Assam government is going to fill up 9389 vacancies through a TET Cum Recruitment Test 2024. Candidates having Graduation, Post Graduation along with B.Ed degree can apply for this post. DSE Assam TET CUM Recruitment Test 2024 Overview
The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE) will conduct the common recruitment test for all graduate and post graduate teacher, both for government and provincialised schools. The online registration for the common recruitment test is start from 21 October and continue till 20 November 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for TGT & PGT Teacher 2024
TGT Teacher Eligibility: In terms of Education qualification, candidates should be graduate or post graduate in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks either in graduation or post graduation and must have the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from NCTE recognized Institutions.
For PGT Teachers: Candidates must have Master’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in the concerned subjects and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree as an education qualification from a recognized instituitions.

NCC/ Sports / Fine Arts and Cultural Activities

- Candidates who have passed the earlier High School TET and not been appointed till date shall get weightage of 5% of the marks secured in the TET or maximum 5 marks for selection as a Graduate Teacher.
