DSE Assam Graduate Teacher Recruitment 2024
Directorate of Secondary Education has already released the notification inviting online application for 7249 Graduate Teachers and 1442 post graduate teachers. The notification contains the basic details such as total number of vacancies, TET Cum Recruitment Test, Selection process, new eligibility criteria for TGT and PGT Post 2024.

DSE Assam Graduate Teacher Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The necessary educational and professional qualifications for direct recruitment for the post of Graduate Teacher (Arts & Science) are given below. The first two bullet points for Arts Teachers and next two points for science teacher’s eligibility criteria.
- In order to apply for the post of Graduate Teacher (Arts), the candidate must Graduate or Post Graduate from Arts/Commerce background. Along with this candidate must have at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation.
- Candidates should have completed the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
- To apply for the post of graduate teacher (Science) the candidate must be Science Graduate or Post Graduate with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation.
- Candidates should have done Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s)

DSE Assam PGT Teacher Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates willing to apply for the post of PGT teachers must full fill the necessary eligibility criteria. The academic and professional qualifications for the post graduate teachers are-
- Candidates must be a Post Graduate in concerned subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and should possess B.Ed degree from an institution recognized by NCTE.
- The candidates who have obtained their degrees in off-campus and distance education mode shall not be considered as valid.
- Candidate shall have to read the same subject as one of the subjects in degree level.
In addition to the academic and professional qualification, the applicant must satisfy the following criteria-
- In case of Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo and English Medium School, the applicant must have passed HSLC with respective language (such as Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo, or English) as one of the subjects or have diploma in that Language or read up to HSLC level in the same Medium School.
- As given that for recruitment of teachers for teaching MIL subjects, the applicants who have passed HSLC Examination with particular MIL Subject shall be considered.
