Assam TET Result 2025: The Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam has successfully conducted the common Recruitment Test on 19th January 2025 for paper 1 and 2. The DSE Assam has released the OMR Answer Sheet Download (Graduate Teacher – Paper I) and Post Graduate Teacher- Paper 2, on 3th February 2025.
The TET Cum Recruitment Test Result for both the paper will be released as merit list on the official website madhyamik.assam.gov.in. Assam TET Result procedures and the expected cut off mark is discussed below as per the difficulty level of exam papers.

Candidates who have participated the Assam TET Cum Recruitment Test on 19 January 2025 are waiting to know the GT and PGT Result and cut off marks details. The DSE Assam will most probably release the Assam PGT TET result 2025 soon in the month of March 2025. As soon as the assam tet result release, candidates will be able to download the list in pdf format through the official link.

The Common Recruitment Test for Graduate and Post graduate teachers held on January 19, 2025 offline. The exam was held in two shifts, paper 1 from 9:00 AM to 11:30AM whereas the Paper 2 from 01:30 PM to 04:00 PM. The exam was held for 140 marks each paper. The official answer key is likely to be released within two weeks as soon as the evaluation process is done. After that the result will be available online soon.
Assam TET Merit List 2025
The Merit lists for Graduate and Post Graduate Teacher will be preparing on the basis of total marks obtained in the TET cum Recruitment Test and as per selection criteria of DSE, Assam.
A draft merit list will be publish with a ratio of 2 candidates against one post for verification purpose. Thereafter, a final merit list will be released from the draft merit list as per the outcome of the verification details and as per the merit in the draft merit list in the ratio of 1 candidate against one vacancy.

- According to merit position, the vacancies of Government Schools will be fille d first from the merit List and thereafter posts of Provincialized Schools will be fille d.
Assam TET Cut off Mark
Cut off mark of Assam TET Cum Recruitment test for Graduate and post graduate teacher will be available along with the merit list. The examination for GT and PGT held in 140 marks, all questions asked from five different parts
- Pedagogy– 50 Marks
- General English– 30 Marks
- Assam and its people – 35 marks
- General Mathematics– 15 Marks
- General Studies and Current affairs– 10 Marks
Cut off marks is the minimum marks that a candidate needs to score in order to get selection for the post of Graduate or post graduate teacher. Factors may influence to determine the cut off criteria are-
- Number of positions in particular subjects
- Number of candidates
- Difficulty level of papers etc.
The DSE will prepare the merit list keeping all the parameters and release at their official website. Candidates who have participated in the examination will be able to download the merit list at madhyamik.assam.gov.in.

What to do after the DSE Assam TET cum Recruitment Test Merit list?
The Concerned authority will release the official notification along with the merit list. Two Candidates will be selecte d against one vacant post in the draft merit list for verification purpose. Candidates need to verify their qualification and other details as per the date schedule to be announce d.
After completion of verification, the final merit list will be publishing in the ration of 1:1. Those candidates who are selecting in the final list, will be able to get the appoint letter as per the procedures of Assam government.
