- The reservation policy will be as per Sixth Scheduled area norms
Eligibility Criteria for Forester-I
- Candidates should have passed Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university.
- The age of the applicants must be in between 18 to 25 years as on the date 31 January 2024.
- Candidates from BTC area need to apply for the post of Forester-I & forest guard
Eligibility Criteria for Forest Guard
- Forest Guard- 330 Posts
- The reservation policy will be as per Sixth Scheduled area norms
- Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary (HS) or its equivalent.
- The age of the applicants must be in between 18 to 25 years as on the date 31 January 2024.
- Candidates from BTC area need to apply for the post of forest guard
Necessary documents for BTC Forest Department Recruitment 2024
- All educational certificates from HSLC onwards along with other professional (if any)
- Caste Certificate for ST/SC/OBC/MOBC as a proof of BTC permanent residence.
- Applicants other than ST/SC/OBC/MC must give certificate from the Municipal Board/Town Committee for urban area and Village Council Development Committee rural area duly signed by the Revenue Circle/Block Development Officer as a proof of BTC permanent residence.
- all the photo copies of documents should be self-attested by the candidate as certified to be true copy.
- The applicant should give 2 copies of recent identical passport size photographs signed across by the candidate along with the application form.
How to pay Kokrajhar Recruitment 2024 application fee
- Applicants applying for the post of forester-1 or Forest guard post must deposit a treasury challan to be paid at the Kokrajhar Treasury Office or IPO. In the case of the Treasury Challan, the Challan must be paid in favour of the Principal Secretary, BTC, Kokrajhar, payable at the Kokrajhar Treasury Office only under the Head of Account – 8443 Civil Deposit, Personal Deposit, BTC. The challan paid at the Kokrajhar Treasury Office will only be accepted.
- And in the case of an IPO must be paid in favour of the Member Secretary, CSB, Kokrajhar, payable at the Kokrajhar Head Post Office.

BTC Forest Department Recruitment 2024 Selection process
The candidates who have submitted the application form will have to attain the written examination/interview. The written test will conduct for 3 Hours on the following topics..
- The syllabus for BTC Forest recruitment 2024 is General Knowledge, General Mathematics and English of HS standard for Forester-I and HSLC level for Forest Guard.
- Physical Fitness Test comprising 26 Kms for male and 16 Kms for female of walking to be complete d within 4 hours followe d by a medical examination will also be don e for both male and female.
