Candidates who have PhD/M,.PhiV Post Graduate in social Science discipline with at least 55,% marks are eligible to apply for Research Assistant. For the Field Investigators post candidates should have passed their post Graduate in social Science discipline with at least 55% marks.

Research Assistant Eligibility Criteria
- Number of post- 1
- Salary – Rs. 37,000 (Thirty-seven thousand per month)
- Duration: 1 year
- Qualification- PhD/M.Phils. Post Graduate in social Science discipline with at least 55 percentage of marks.
However, preference will be given to the candidates having the following additional qualifications
- Good communication skills in Assamese/ Bengali language (reading, writing and speaking)
- Having knowledge of Assamese Literature
- Candidates who are interested to travel throughout Assam.
Field Investigator Eligibility criteria
- Number of post- 2
- Salary– Rs 20,000 (twenty thousand per month)
- Duration- 6 months
- Qualification: Post Graduate in social Science discipline with at least 55 percentage of marks
However, candidates having the followings additional skills are preferable.
- Good knowledge of Assamese Literature
- communication skills in Assamese/ Bengali language such as reading, writing and speaking
- Willing to travel throughout the state of Assam

Bodoland University Recruitment 2024 Job Details
The Project Assistant will have to review literatures, read archival materials, newspapers, journal articles etc. Any other work related to the project.
The Filed Investigators need to travel and interview people at specific locations identified by the Project Director. One of the Filed Investigators should be well versed in Assamese language and the other in Bengali language.
Candidates who are intereste d to work on ICSSR funded project titled “Identity and Conflict in Assam” Comprehending everyday Co-existence and Peace-making in Literature from Assam” on purely temporary can apply for this post of Project Assistant and Filed Investigators before the last date 14th April 2024.
