Online application process for the recruitment of 24 posts of Sports Person in Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is ongoing. The last date to apply online is 9th July 2024.

NE Railway Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
Stage 1: Trials of candidates
Trial Committee Trials will conduct the trials of the candidates to assess their sports performance for consideration for next stage, by giving marks (maximum 40 marks).
Stage 2: Interview
After candidate’s Trial only the FIT candidates shall be called for the interview stage by the Recruitment Committee. In these stages, the Recruitment Committee shall award 60 marks for sports achievement and educational qualification.
The marks distributions are-

Merit List
The Recruitment Committee will prepare the final merit list of NE Railway recruitment 2024 in order to find the most eligible candidates for the post. Minimum Sports Norms for Recruitment
For level 4 or 5: At least 3rd position in any of the Category-B championships/ events.
Levels- 3 or 2:
- Represented the country in any of the Category-B Championships
OR - At least third position in any of the Category-C championships
- Or At least third position in Senior/ Youth/ Junior National Championships
OR - At least third position in the National Games organized under the aegis of the Indian Olympic Association
OR - At least third position in All India Inter University Championships prepared under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities
OR - 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)
For Level-1
- #Represented the country in any of the Category-C championships
OR - At least third position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)
OR - Represented a state or equivalent unit, except in marathon and cross country with at least eight positions in Senior National championships only.
NFR Sports Quota Recruitment 2024 Application Fee
