Government has introduced a new scheme on 12 June Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Moina Aasoni 2024. Under this scheme Admission Incentive will be given to Girl Students who are enrolled in Government and Venture Educational Institutions in Higher Secondary, Graduation (B.A./B.Sc/B.Com) and Post-Graduation (M.A./M.Sc/M.Com/B. Ed) First Year excluding Private Institutions. 10 lakh students of Assam will be supported with a financial grant as admission incentive to continue their higher education under this scheme. Eligible students must check the eligibility criteria and apply for this scheme within the given time. Assam government has introduced the scheme named Assam Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina 2024 to increase enrollment of girl students in Higher Education. Under this scheme MMNM, a financial grant provides to 10 lakh girls for their higher education, ensuring brighter futures by reducing child marriage. Check the eligibility criteria below.

Assam Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme Eligibility 2024
- Students must be a domicile of Assam in order to be eligible for this scheme.
- Girl Students who are studying in Government and venture Educational Institutions are eligible for this scheme
- Students must enroll whether in Higher Secondary 1st Year, Graduation B.A/ BSc/BCom 1st year or Post-Graduation (M.A./M.Sc/M.Com/B. Ed) First Year
- Students of private college or instituitions are not eligible for this asoni.
- Girls students must be good in attending classes regularly, respecting school property, following the instruction of teacher and staff, and behaving respectfully towards peers and other personnels of the institute etc.
- The girl students who receive scooty will not be eligible for this scheme. However, if any girl opts out of receiving the scooty. She can apply for the Nijut Moina scheme 2024.
- Married students are not eligible for Assam Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme 2024
- MLA, Minister’s Daughters will not be eligible to take benefits of this scheme.

Benefits of Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina 2024
The eligible students will get the following benefits from this scheme as an admission assistance.
- For students enrolled in Class 11 will receive Rs.1000 per month over a period of 10 months, totalling Rs.10,000
- Students who have enrolled B.A, BSc and B.Com first year will receive Rs.1250 every month from a period of 10 months, total Rs.12500
- For students enrolled in B.Ed, MA, MSc, and M.com first year will receive Rs.2500 every month for a period of 10Months, totalling Rs.25000
Objectives of Nijut Moina Scheme 2024
The main aims of Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina scheme are as follows
- To increase enrollment of girl students in Higher Education in Assam.
- Increase the percentage of girls educated beyond class 10 in Assam.
- To reduce dropouts among girl students.
- Increase the overall Gross Enrolment Ratio (GET) of the State.
- To eliminate the social evil of child marriage.
Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Registration Renewal
Students will get the benefits for 9 months for the current academic session. The online application needs to be submitted for the first years. And from the second year onwards, no
application requires to be submitted. As a renewal of registration only a certificate from the head of the institution need to submit as a proof her continuity in the institution.

Assam Mukhyamantri Nijut Moina Scheme 2024 Application Form
- The students are required to fill up a prescribed application form and submit the same to their institutions where they are cunently enrolled in.
- Fill up the application form and make ensue that the data given by them is correct and complete.
- The Principals will collect and verify the application forms through their respective portals and submit the correct data for auto verification in the portal.
- From 2nd year onwards, There is no requirement for submitting an application form. Only A certificate from the head of the institution, proving the student’s continuity in the institution will be enough for availing benefits smoothly.
- All Head of the Institute shall notify One or two Nodal Teachers for implementing this Scheme in their respective college.
- Guardians can choose as to whether their daughters will submit applications for availing the benefits OR NOT under the scheme.
