State level recruitment commission (SLRC) has released the Assam Direct Recruitment (ADRE Syllabus) and exam pattern on 15th July 2024. All the candidates who are going to appear for the examination of Grade III and Grade IV must know the complete Syllabus along with questions pattern as available below.
Assam Direct Recruitment 2024 Syllabus
ADRE syllabus is released officially for Grade 3 and grade 4 examination for Graduation, HS and HSLC level. For each level the questions will be MCQs type that carry 1 mark each. The exam duration will be 3 hours only. In case of wrong answers, candidates will lose ¼ marks. The complete syllabus for grade 3 and 4 for each level is given below.
ADRE Syllabus for Grade III 2024
The syllabus and exam pattern for grade 3 posts will be in three different levels. Graduation level, Higher Secondary Level and HSLC level. Each level syllabus along with exam pattern is in the following column.
- Graduation Level posts
The exam duration of graduation level post under grade 3 will be 3 hours only. Applicants will have to answer 150 questions for a total of 175 marks. The medium of question paper is Assamese, Bengali, English, Bodo and Hindi. Each questions will carry 1 mark except “reading comprehension and English language” as this section contains 25 questions where each question will of 2 marks. The grade 3 exam for HSLC level, the duration of exam will be 3 hours only. candidates will have to answer 150 questions where each questions carry 1 mark. The syllabus for this level (driver) contains on section additional that is road transport, which contains 20 questions of 20 marks.

ADRE Syllabus for Grade 4
The commission will conduct two separate categories of examination for grade 4 posts. For candidates who reads up to class VIII and for candidates who have passed HSLC. There will be negative mark of 0.25 for each category.
The exam pattern and syllabus for grade 4 are as follows.

The exam duration will be 2 hours 30 minutes, students will have to answer 135 questions carrying 1 mark each. All the questions will be asked in the exam in consonance with the Elementary School pass level of SCERT. The subjects are-

ADRE Syllabus for Class X
The for this class 10 category, the exam duration is 90 minutes, students will have to answer 135 questions where each questions carry 1 mark. All the questions will be asked in the exam in consonance with the HSLC exam of SEBA. The subjects are-
