CLAT Application Form 2025 (Out)- Apply for Law Entrance Exam

The Consortium of National Law Universities has released the CLAT Notification inviting online applications from eligible students for admission into LLB and LLM Programmes. CLAT is a national level law entrance test which is conducted every year for LLB (UG) and LLM (PG) admission. For the academic year 2024-25, the CLAT exam will be held on 1 December 2024 in offline mode. Eligible students can apply online through the direct link CLAT Application Form below.

Official notification is released on 7 July at consortiumofnlus.ac.in for common law admission test (CLAT) 2025. Through this national level law entrance exam, admission into 5 years integrated LLB and 1-year LLM courses will be done on the basis of merit in 22 National Law Universities in India.

The entrance exam will be held 1st December 2024 in offline mode at various examination centres. Students who have completed class 12 and LLB are eligible to apply for LLB and LLM programmes respectively through the link below.

National Law Entrance Exam 2024

The law entrance exam will be held on December 1, 2024, for which the CLAT Admission notification is already announced on 7 July. As per the notification the online registration process is open now from 15 July and continue until  15 October 2024 online. Students must have the following eligibility criteria can submit application for LLB and LLM programmes in any one of the participating law universities.

CLAT Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025

Students who have passed class 12 with minimum 45% marks are eligible to apply for CLAT exam for 5 years integrated LLB course. For ST/SC/PwD candidates need at least 40% marks in their qualification marks.

Students appearing in the qualification exam in March /April 2025 are also eligible to apply for CLAT exam to be held on 1st December 2024.

CLAT Exam Eligibility for LLM

For  One-year LLM Programme, students must have LLB. Degree or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates belonging to ST/SC/Pwd category they need 45% marks in their qualification exam.

Students appearing in the qualification exam in April/May 2025 are also eligible to apply for CLAT 2025.

CLAT Application Fee 2025

Students who want to apply for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025, they have to pay Rs.4000 as an application fee. If you belong to ST/SC/PwD/BPL category then you have to pay Rs.3500. The fee is same either you apply for UG or PG programmes.

Steps to Submit CLAT Application Form 2025

 To apply for CLAT exam 2025 for UG and PG admission, students need to follow the following steps.

  • Visit the official website of consortium of NLUs consortiumofnlus.ac.in
  • In the homepage click on clat 2025
  • Click on application form and register yourself with necessary details.
  • Then login to your account with newly created ID and Password.
  • Fill-up CLAT application Form   with your personal details, education details etc.
  • Along with it upload required documents in CLAT forms
  • Pay the CLAT Application Form
  • Submit and download the application form.

CLAT Syllabus 2025

There will be 120 questions in UG-CLAT 2025 carrying 1 mark each. All questions will cover the following 5 topic.

The PG-CLAT 2025 will focus on the comprehension abilities of the candidates. there shall be of 120 minutes duration.

The first section contains 120 MCQs carrying 1 mark each. There shall be a negative mark of 0.25 marks for every incorrect attempt.
