Assam gunotsav is a state government initiative which is conducting every year for the improvement of quality of school education. For the year 2025, the education department will conduct the Gunotsav from 6 January to 8 February 2025 in three different phases. What is Gunotsav 2025?
Gunotsav or the evaluation of schools is a programme which is conducted on a specific date every year. Through this programme, external evaluators evaluate the four main areas such as Scholastic, Co-scholastic, Infrastructure and community participation of a schools. As per the performance of all areas, schools are grading as A+, A, B, C and D.
This Gunotsav helps in identifying the learning gaps and ensuring taking suitable remedial measures for achieving grade specific learning outcomes by students.
Considering the importance of Gunotsav programme, Government has already been released date schedule of Assam Gunotsav for the year 2025.
Gunotsav Schedule 2025
Assam Gunotsav is going to be started from 6 January and continue till 8 February 2025. There will be both Self Evaluation and External Evaluation. Gunotsav evaluation will be for 4 days-
- Day-1: Self Evaluation
- Day –2, 3 and 4: External evaluation
Gunotsav is schedule d to be complete in three different phases as per the following date.
Assam Gunotsav Date 2025 District wise
Round 1: Self Evaluation will be on 6th January 2025 and external evaluation will be on 7, 8 & 9 January 2025. In phase 1 the following 11 districts will cover.
- Barpeta
- Bajali
- Karimganj
- Kamrup
- KarbiAnglong
- Kokrajhar
- Lakhimpur
- Nagaon
- Sibsagar
- Southsalmara-Mankachar
- Udalguri
Round 2: Self Evaluation will be on 18 January 2025 and external evaluation will on 20, 21 & 22 January 2025. In phase 1 the following 13 districts will cover.
Baksa, Chirang, Charaideo, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Golaghat, Hailakandi, Jorhat, kamrup (Metro), Sonitpur, Tamulpur, Tinsukia, Westkarbi Anglong.
Round 3: Self Evaluation will be on 5th February 2025 and external evaluation will be on 6, 7 & 8 February 2025. In phase 1 the following 11 districts will cover.
Bongaigaon, Biswanath, Darrang, Dibrugarh, Goalpara, Cachar, Nalbari, Morigaon, Dima Hasao, Majuli, Hojai,
