15th May 2024 UPSC CDS 2 Notification PDF is released officially at the website of Union Public Service Commission upsconline.nic.in . Eligible candidates can submit the online application till 4th June 2024.
UPSC will conduct the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2024 on 1st September, 2024 for admission to the various courses. CDS 2 Online registration process is started from 15th May and the last date to apply for UPSC CDS 2 Examination is 4th June 2024. UPSC CDS 2 Notification
Notification for a total of 459 vacancies are released today on 15th May 2024 by Union Public Service Commission. Through the notification, online applications are invited from eligible candidate from 15May to 4 June 2024. The Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS-2) 2024 will be held on September 1, 2024 at various exam centre across the country.
Candidates must register himself/herself first at One Time Registration (OTR) platform once in a lifetime available on the Commission’s website. In case, for any change in OTR profile, it shall be allowed only once in the lifetime after the registration at OTR platform. Candidates must read the complete notification before proceeding further. The last date of modification of OTR is 11 June 2024.

UPSC CDSE 2024 Application Fee
Union Public Service Commission UPSC will organize Combined Defence Service Examination- II, 2024 on first September for admission into 459 vacancies. Applicants must fill up and submit the application form online through upsc official website before 4 June 2024. The application fee should be paid before the last date along with online apply. The fees are-

All candidates except Female, Schedule caste(SC), Schedule Tribe (ST) need to pay Rs. 200/- as an application fee. They can pay the fee through Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using internet banking facility of any Bank.

Eligibility Criteria For CDS 2, 2024

Educational qualification
- For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai — Must have Degree from a recognised University or its equivalent.
- Should have Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution for Indian Naval Academy.
- Degree of a recognised University (with Physics & Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering- for Air Force Academy.
Age Criteria
- For IMA—Male candidates who are Unmarried and born not before 2nd July, 2001 and not later than 1st July, 2006 only are eligible.
- (ii) For Indian Naval Academy— Male candidates who are Unmarried, born between 2nd July, 2001 to 1st July, 2006 only are eligible.
- (iii) For Air Force Academy- 20 to 24 years as on the date 1st July 2025.
- For Officers’ Training Academy — (SSC Course for men) unmarried male candidates born between July 2, 2000 to July 1, 2006 only are eligible.
- #For Officers’ Training Academy — (SSC Women Non-Technical Course) Unmarried female, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been born between July 2, 2000 to July 1, 2006.
