Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences has released official notification on 27 June, inviting applications for admission into Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course. The SSUHS Post Basic Bsc Nursing entrance exam will be held on 28 July 2024 in offline mode. Candidates applied for entrance test can downlaod their admit card from this page.

Assam Post Basic Nursing Entrance 2024
Students have to appear in entrance exam for admission into Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course in the Institutions of Assam for the academic year 2024. The SSUHS will conduct the entrance test on 28 July at Gauhati.

SSUHS Post Basic BSC Nursing Entrance Exam Eligibility 2024
The eligibility criteria for appearing in SSUHS Assam Post Basic BSC entrance test and admission are follows-
- #Applicant must be a citizen of India
- Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent examination
- Additionally, candidates who have done 10+1 in or before 1986, will be eligible for admission in post basic BSc nursing courses.
- Candidates with a certificate in general nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R M With the state nurses Registration Council.

Application Fee
Candidates of general category have to pay Rs. 1500/- and for SC/ST/EWS/OBC (NCL)/MOBC etc, candidates have to pay Rs.1200 as an application fee through online payment gateway available on University website.
SSUHS Post BSC Nursing Entrance exam 2024 Syllabus
- SSUHS will conduct the entrance exam for post basic bsc nursing on 28 July
- The exam timing is 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Exam centre: Gauhati (details will be in admit card)
- Duration: 2 hours
- Number of questions: 50
- Syllabus: As per Indian Nursing Council (INC) prescribed GNM syllabus.
- Paper: Single paper
SSUHS Post Basic BSc Nursing Merit List 2024
The merit list of the selected candidates for admission into Post Basic nursing courses will be published by university in due course of time.
The Merit shall be prepared based on the performance and obtained marks by each student in the Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing Entrance Examination 2024.
In case two or more applicants secure the same marks in the Entrance test, the inter-se merit of such aspirants will be prepared in order of preference such as
- Obtaining more marks in GNM Final Exam
- Applicants securing more marks in HSSLC or its equivalent exam.

Post Basic minimum cut off score 2024
- General (UR/EWS) – 50* Percentile
- SC/ST/OBC – 40th Percentile
- C. UR – PWD – 45 Percentile
If seats remain vacant, the minimum percentile will be reconsidere d by DME before 2ND counselling.
