Dibrugarh University PhD Eligibility criteria 2024
A candidate seeking admission for admission into the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programme, they must fulfil eligibility criteria as per the norms of the University. However, the required eligibility criteria for DURAT is below.
- Candidates must have Masters Degree with minimum 55% marks in aggregate in their relevant subjects.
- A relaxation of 5% marks will be allowed for those candidates who are belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWd/EWS as per the norms of the university.

GURAT Application Fee 2024
Application fee is Rs.950 that candidates must pay along with their application form. You can pay the GURAT Application fee through online only by using ATM, Internet Banking etc.
Dibrugarh University PhD Selection Process 2024
The selection of the candidates for admission will on DURAT 2024 which consists of two phases.
- Written Test for 100 marks.
- Viva-Voce
All the candidates who are going to appear in DURAT must know that the qualifying marks in written test is 50%. However, there is a 5% relaxation marks for reserved category students in their qualifying marks.

DURAT 2024 Merit List
The List of the provisionally Selected Candidates for PhD Admission will be prepared by the concerned Department combining the performances of the aspirant in both written test and Viva-voce.
Those candidates who are selected for admission shall be purely provisional and approval of seat is subject to verification of all the relevant original documents by the concerned offices.
